Meanwhile, I worked on grouting the master bathroom while Gerald finished up the floor.

When Gerald got finished, there were just a handful of boards left. We couldn't have planned it better.

With the floor in place, we started bringing up small, lightweight pieces of furniture to make the place a little more comfortable.

After we do the finish on the floor, we'll gradually start to bring up bigger pieces.

The rest of the time was spent doing odds and ends, like finishing up the shelf in the closet where we hope to display our collection of cowboy boots....

and some of the window trim.
